ELECTORAL LITERACY CLUB

Objectives:

The Electoral Literacy Club is to awaken the duties of the voters among the students

To understand the functions of Election commission of India.
To understand themselves in relation to their community
To enhance and to spread voter awareness amongst employees of Govt./Pvt. Department/Organization
To gain skills in mobilizing community participation
To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude
To create awareness among the village peoples.

Policy:

Electoral Literacy Club has to follow the below policy for smooth conduction of club activities:

Empowers students with knowledge and awareness in voter’s related issues.
Prepares the student to face the election by legal knowledge.
Creates awareness about Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democracy.
Conducts seminars and workshops related to elector’s protection acts.
Celebrating National Voter’s days on 25^th January every year.
Accomplishing awareness programme on voter and their responsibilities.
Taking active part in the competitions related to electoral awareness.
Serving community through issuing handouts, educating public about election and vote.
Assisting government departments in conducting survey related to elections.
Promote and provide awareness to Empowering Young and Future Voters.
