CAREER AND PERSONAL COUNSELLING
A career goal helps to focus on what you want to do for living. “The future you see is the future you get”. Give yourself a vision and it will provide a focus point for you to guide during entire career.
Campus Recruitment is a strategy for sourcing, engaging, and hiring young talent for internship and entry level positions. The criteria adopted for selection by most employers are variable in nature and selection process such as pre-placement talk, Educational Qualification, Written test, Group discussion, Technical interview, HR interview and post-placement talk.
Personal counselling is a process of self-discovery and growth. It can help to increase self-confidence, improve relationships, solve problems, achieve educational goals, and make good decisions for emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
SKILL ENHANCEMENT IN ACADEMIC, TECHNICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ASPECTS
With the introduction of microteaching, the students develop the skills regarding the art of teaching. Microteaching is a teacher training technique for learning teaching skills.
As a raise of capability building and skill enhancement, our college initiated a programme to enhance skill in academic, technical and organization aspects. Micro teaching is a teaching practice in which the students teach for a small group of students for a short time.
Microteaching can be practical with one skill at a time, with a smaller number of students. It scales down the complexities of real teaching, as immediate feedback can be sought after each practice session.
E-Content
In the modern era, technology is growing up from earth to sky. Modern revolutions occur through modern communication devices and equipment. It is valuable to the learners and also helpful to teachers of all individual instruction system. It is the latest method of instruction that has attracted more attention to gather with the concept of models. Most of the e-content preparations consider the learner only as a self-learner. As to the words, our infrastructure has been furnished with all the ICT resources for the effective presentation of the content. The E-studio of VCE plays a major role in preparing the e-content. It is a combination of text, audio, video, images, animation with visual effects. Any digitized content that can facilitate the learning process and learning outcome can be termed as e-content. E-content is a very powerful tool of education. It is valuable to learners and helpful to teachers of all individual instruction system . It is the latest method of instruction that has attracted more attention to gather with the concept of models.
Hence E-content learning is possible at anytime and anywhere in the world. It is incorporated with multimedia for its availability in the classroom. The teacher educators of VCE prepared e-content by utilizing the e-studio.
ONLINE ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING
Since everything has become online during this pandemic time, it is important for the students to make use of the technology effectively. For that, they must understand the features of the applications available, and they should know how to use them.
The applications like Google meet and Google classroom highly help in teaching- learning process. Once the link is shared by the faculty, the students can easily join the meeting with the link. It has lot of useful features. The faculties can share their screen and present the relevant content. It is compatible across devices. Students can make use of Google classroom for submitting their assignments and answer sheets.
CAPABILITY TO DEVELOP A SEMINAR PAPER AND A RESEARCH PAPER
Research papers are an excellent platform to disseminate a novel finding to a general or focused audience, which may be interested in replicating the experiments. It is important to hone the skill of writing papers to demonstrate the ability to understand, as well as receive critical peer feedback.
To raise capability building and skill enhancement, our college conducted programmes on developing seminar papers and research papers and to understand the difference between the two.

As raise of capability building and skill enhancement, our college initiates career and personal counselling to the student teachers in an effective manner. The main objective of campus recruitment is to identify the talented and qualified students before they complete their education. To assist students to develop and clarify their academic and career interest and their short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group sessions.
