The B.Ed. programme shall be for duration of two academic years consisting of four semesters. Each semester is spread over for a period of 100 working days (36 hours in a week spreading over for 5 or 6 working days in a week, excluding the period of examination and admission.
The major objective of the Pedagogic course is to make the student-teachers to get an overview of the content of the chosen subject and also to get practiced in classroom teaching at Level –I is pertaining to standard VI to VIII and is compulsory for all the student-teachers to get many-fold experiences in classroom teaching of their pedagogic subject during the School Internship & Level – II is pertaining to standard IX and X for undergraduate qualified student-teachers and standard XI and XII for post graduate qualified student-teachers.
The students of Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, Political Science, Logic, and Indian Culture should study and teach the subject Social Sciences, students of Computer Science should study and teach the subject Mathematics; and students of Home Science should study and teach the subject Science prescribed in the school curriculum.
The first year student teacher how to prepare for teaching lesson plan, working models, and teaching aids in our pedagogy subjects. When will use for the above teaching aids properly and how to make teaching models in our pedagogy subjects. These are the major confusion in everyone. so that gap its solved for the second year student teachers well prepared and displayed in the show of incubation centre. It is very useful and avoid the doubts and confusions. then we are clearly to good idea for our preparation of models and so on pedagogy subjects.
2. Orientation by pedagogy teachers
Our Vellalar College of Education pedagogy teachers very smart and well trained in our trainee students. Our pedagogy teachers has conducted every day orientation for pedagogy subjects. Incubation centre utilized student teachers for every day in pedagogy classes.
3. M.Ed., project proposal
First and second year M.Ed., students how to identify the research problem and how to prepare research proposal for our study. Previous year B.Ed., and M.Ed., students teaching aids, models and proposals to encourage and enthusiastic in new energetic research. Incubation centre helpful to do go for conduct internship programme in various government schools and colleges to complete our internship program.
4. MOU with research collaboration
The young and energetic educational researchers go for the investigation on topic related studies and confidents to proper completion of research work. The MOU helpful to completion of research work and to gather new knowledge, foster and updating the research.
