Library is automated using Integrated Library Management System (ILMS)
Integrated Library Management System installed in our institution in order to make the process very easy to fulfills all the requirement of a librarian and keep record of different categories like Books, Journals, Newspapers, Magazines, etc., The primary objective of using an ILMS installed in our institution is to achieve flexibility and convenience in the process of accessing information of all stocks in library.

This software is used to check online stock verification of library resources using barcode scanner, data searching the unit and generates reports of books such as – missing, lost, issued, binding, transferred condemned, reference, available, etc.
Library accessed
In VCE the e- resources are selected according to the need and demand of the faculty members and the students. It is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. during working days. Library is well ventilated and furnished with 100 seating capacity.
Fully Automatic Library with ILMS
The VCE is fully automated and the ILMS provides a distributed system of Input for easy access. During working hours, facilities available include borrowing/returning/ renewal of books, reprographic services, press clippings, reference services, Inflibnet , remote access, Wi-Fi facility, etc.,
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)
An online public access catalog (OPAC) is an online database of materials for the users search in a library catalog principally to locate books and other material available at a library.
The barcode scanner in circulation system is most successful due to its speed, accuracy and reliability. The barcode environment, when a student or staff goes to the circulation counter, the counter Librarian scans his/her identity card and activates the borrowing status.
Database Management
The College library follows the open Access System and the reference books follow the Open Access System. Books are classified according to Course wise and Pedagogy wise and are placed on the stacks.
